A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

        Welcome to fourth grade!  My name is Tiwi Nicks and I will be your child’s teacher this year.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and after working for several years in the corporate world decided to pursue my dream of being a teacher.  I completed my Masters of Elementary Education degree at Arizona State University.  My passion has always been working with children and that has been reflected in my 10 years of coaching competitive girls volleyball.  I have coached all age groups ranging from 12 to 18 years old and I have helped several girls gain college scholarships to further their education.  I am originally from North Idaho and love to go back several times a year to visit my family.  My husband Steve and I are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Addison.  We love to travel, read, spend time with our daughter, family, friends, and playing with our Great Dane.
