I welcome all my students and families to this site. I know we all are looking forward to a dynamic and productive year in fifth grade. I am committed to providing a learning environment that will develop and enhance strong academic skills, problem solving techniques, and personal responsibilities. My educational philosophy is based on the premise that I teach a child not for a year but for a lifetime. I am a lifelong learner and I want your child to become one also.
Due to this commitment I have provided this site for the purpose of communication. Please use HOME VIEW through the Paradise Valley School District for current student grades. To email me use: shughes@pvschools.net. I check my email regularly. For student assignments, your child must keep their daily agenda up to date. It must be their responsibility to complete this daily.
