Electricity is one of my favorite science units.  Students will be working with wires, batteries, and light bulbs to learn about circuits and how they work.  We'll try different materials as insulators and conductors.  Thomas Edison is a scientist we'll learn about, and we'll discuss ways to be safe around electricity.  Thank you to SRP for providing coloring books to our students.

Don't forget to ask your child the joke of the day.  I try to give them at least one a day - it's a great way to talk about vocabulary and word usage...and it's fun!
