Are you concerned that your child may have a speech/language disorder?
Did you know that typically developing children acquire different sounds at different ages?
Children especially in the younger grades, (kindergarden, 1st, 2nd), may have misproduced sounds in their speech that are considered to be develpmentally appropriate.

EXAMPLES:
If your child is in Kindergarden and they substitute a /w/ for an /r/ (e.g. wabbit for rabbit), a /th/ for an /s/ (e.g. thun for sun) or a /w/ for an /l/ (e.g. wion for lion) . These errors are considered to be developmentally appropriate and your child would not qualify for speech therapy.
