We use Scott Foresman Science curriculum, student investigation, and experimentation to discover the world around us. We will identify the characteristics of living things, describe life cycles of plants and animals, compare and describe different habitats and their interdependence, classify objects by their properties, classify solids and liquids, identify the properties of earth materials, identify and compare the Sun, Moon, and stars, and identify the characteristics of seasonal weather patterns. Here is a link to student activities from the publisher: What is the scoop on Pluto? We also use the inquiry-based FOSS science curriculum.
