Parents,
The AVID shirts came in on Thursday. If you haven't already done so, please send $5 with your student for the shirt.
Tomorrow, the students will be coming home with a permission slip for our trip next week to NAU! It'll be on Monday, February 1st. A few important notes:
- We won't return to school until 5PM. There won't be a late bus, so we're asking students to plan ahead for parent pick-up.
- It'll be cold! Students should wear pants and a light sweater or jacket.
- The trip will include a visit to Montezuma Castle National Monument in Camp Verde. There'll be a $5 fee for this part of the trip. (Everything else, including lunch and snack, will be paid for by the district's AVID funds.)
There'll be an ASU trip in March within the hours of the school day. There shouldn't be a charge and lunch should be provided.
Parent conferences are next Tuesday (by appointment) and Wednesday (3-5PM and 6-8PM).
