Our goal is to give every student the opportunity to discover and develop his and her artistic ability, no matter at which level it exists. Desert Shadows curriculum was created to inspire students to recognize their own abilities, cultural differences and technical skills, as well as understanding the impact of art throughout history. Students will utilize a wide array of materials, including clay, oil pastels, paints, printing tools, watercolor, to name a few. This art curriculum is designed to follow and meet the Arizona State Visual Arts Standards. We believe the Arts to be essential for growth and personal expression.
DSES ART GALLERY
Our gallery is an ongoing exhibit of student art pieces. The gallery is changing every few months with amazing works of art from all grades Kindergarten through the Sixth grade. You are cordially invited to visit these works throughout the day. Like any gallery or museum please look with your eyes and not your hands.
