Future Nurses tour the ICU at Scottsdale Healthcare
at Thompson Peak
The Future Nurses of America is a club on campus that introduces students to the wonderful career of nursing.
Students have regular meetings throughout the school year on a variety of topics and often have guest speakers visit and share their experiences. Community partnerships have been formed with Mayo Clinic Hospital and Scottsdale Healthcare.
The club also introduces students to the Arizona colleges and universities that have nursing programs, including course requirements and scholarship information.
Field trips are scheduled throughout the school year.
Recently our students worked at the Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research Walk at the first aid booth and completed their CPR certification. Our Future Nurses will be visiting Gateway Community College on April 22nd to tour their Health Science Building and Nursing facilities.
This club is a wonderful opportunity to expose your student to the career and endless opportunties that nursing provides.
