*Please continue studying your spelling words every night.

11/9/09
*Math flashcards went home on Friday.  Please practice the math facts every night!
* This week we will begin math timed test.  We will use this week as a "practice round" and next week the tests will be scored.
* A note will be coming home in your child's folder on Tuesday about adopting a family from Echo Mountain.  This is a great opportunity to teach our kiddos about the power of giving.  Please send back in the form by Friday, November 13th.

*We have started our unit on Ancient China, Ancient India, and Modern day Japan.  If you have any knowledge or items to share on this topic, please let me know!
*Don't forget to practice your math facts and spelling words at home.
*Thank you to all of you who volunteered at the Fall party!  It was so much fun and your help is greatly appreciated!
*Half day on Tuesday, Nov. 10th.  You may send in a healthy snack with you child.
*No school on Wednesday, Nov. 11th
