* Don't forget: Parent Orientation for second grade is tomorrow, at 6:30-7:00 in our classroom, room 456. See you then!
* Our first homework packet went home on Friday. The homework is a review of the skills we have worked on through out the week. Please look over your child's homework and sign the packet before returning it to school on Thursday.

* Wow, what a wonderful start to the school year! A few things to look forward to:
- Parent Orientation for second grade is Monday, August 30th at 6:30-7:00 p.m. in our classroom 456. I will cover curriculum, rules, volunteer opportunities, etc. Can't wait to see you there!
- Look for a homework letter coming home in your child's folder. It will cover basic information on our homework packet.
* Grayhawk was named in Phoenix Magazine's August 2010 issue featuring The Valley's Best Schools. Grayhawk was named as 1 of only 7 schools on the best elementary schools list! We always knew this is where the great come to get even better and now all of Arizona knows too!
