Sunrise Media Center: ConnectMe

The Sunrise Middle School library is an academic library. Students are required to do homework or read. Students are encouraged to use the library before school and during lunch . Once arriving in the library during lunch time, they must stay until the end of the lunch period. The library is also open after school from 2:30-3:00 Monday through Thursday. Students will use the library with classes and on special assignments from teachers. If behavior to, from, or in the library is inappropriate, library privileges may be rescinded. Students are allowed to use materials from the school library and can check out five books at a time, using them up to two weeks. If a book is not returned after the two weeks, the student is responsible for the replacement cost of that book. Until the book is returned or replacement cost paid, no further book check out will be allowed. If the book or replacement cost is not received by the end of the school year, the student’s 4^th quarter report card will be withheld.
