Welcome to an exciting year of physical education at Grayhawk. The purpose of this website is to inform and communicate with parents.
The physical education program at Grayhawk is based on an innovated and well proven program known as "Dynamic Physical Education for Elementary School Children". This program was designed to meet all the needs of all students here at Grayhawk.
In grades K-3, the emphasize is based on movement and fundamental skills. In grades 4-6, the emphasize is based on specialized skills and sports activities. Skills are taught in sequence, are age appropriate and meet the development level of each individual child.
The purpose of this program is to make each class a fun and enjoyable learning experience for each child.
Field Day and District Field Day is a highlight of the 4th-6th grade physical education program.
Information regarding this special event will becoming home with the students in January.
