Wear sun screen when outside and during summertime
Drink 2-3 bottles of water during the day
If you have pain before school take your medication at home before school with parents permission
If you have an injury make sure to tell the nurse about what happened and where it hurts just in case it is something serious.
Make sure if you're bleeding come to the nurse’s office and you can get assessed.
Eat before school and at lunch.
Make sure you eat before taking any medicine during the day or at night.
You are not allowed to bring medications to school in your backpack or on your person including cough drops and throat lozenges.
If your temperature is over 100 you can't come to school until it is below 100 degrees for 24 hours not on medicine. Nurse loves donations of pretzels, sprite, and crackers. Yummy!

![]() BULLYINGDo not bully others. Try to help students that are being bullied. Include students who are easily left out. When you know someone is being bullied tell an adult at school and at home. You are not a snitch or tattle tale if you tell an adult someone is being bullied.
ImmunizationVaricella Vaccine or proof of the chickenpox disease needed for all 7th and 8th graders. TDAP and menactra will be due by August 2008 for any 7th and 8th grade student. When your child gets their immunizations please send in a copy to the nurse. They will not be allowed to begin school without the above immunizations.
