The main purpose of this class is to film and edit the morning announcements. However, that only affects approximately 4-6 students each day. So, the others students are working on various projects that I introduce during the semester. I try to start the semester with a project that teaches them how to use iMovie. Other projects are to complete a Math Word, Word of the Day, Slow Motion or Stop Motion, Music Video, and Tour Video just to name a few. The other applications that the students will be using and learning in this class are Keynote, iTunes, PhotoBooth, iPhoto, and Quicktime there are also others. We will be trying out the blue screen on the school announcements. The students should learn many new applications this semester. Every project can be done in the classroom, but students have
to work while they are in the class. Many students have chosen to do start of the projects at home like taking pictures. This is up to them. Understand that students do not have to do this. Your student does not have to have any equipment. Everything is given to them to use while in my room.
