Study Island- All students at VVMS have access to the Study Island AIMS
preparation program. Students will be given assignments regularly that
require use of the internet to access this program. The school has
computers available for student use during lunch as well as before and
after school by appointment. There are also a few computers in the math
classroom for student use. The program is also accessible from the public
library computers. Students will receive a username and password for the
program.
Grading Information- For the most up to date grade information, please
check the Pogb website. If you have any questions about a grade,
please feel free to email or call me at school. If I am not available,
leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Math Help- Please encourage your student to ask questions any time. Peer
Tutoring is available to students, as well as lunch help from teachers. In
addition, there are several places on the web to go for assistance. To
check out these sites, copy and paste the address into your internet
browser.

At-Home Math Activities- There are many things students can do at home to
strengthen their math skills. Many of the following ideas can be done as a
family. It is important that students and parents feel comfortable working
together to solve problems, regardless of the nature.
