Objectives:
- Acquire a working knowledge of basic marketing principles and skills.
- Develop an understanding of the marketing process and its relationship to our economic system.
- Provide students with the opportunity to develop basic social and marketing skills in addition to the personal qualities required for employability.
- To promote DECA, a professionally oriented youth organization for students interested in marketing, management, and /or sales.
- Opportunity for Dual Enrollment College credits.

Grading Policies:
Students are accountable for attendance and assignments. If absent, it is the students responsibility to check with the teacher
for any make-up work.
Grading Scale: Semester Grade:
90% - 100% = A 1st Quarter = 40%
80% - 89% = B 2nd Quarter = 40%
70% - 79% = C Final Exam = 20%
60% - 69% = D
59% & Less = Failure Max 5% Attendance Points Bonus/Quarter
Grades based on Total Points-Assessments, Homework, Class Work, Projects.
