Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) is a K12 leader in expanding the practice of iTunes U into the K12 learning space. Online multimedia K12 resources are now provided by educational entities in multiple states, including Arizona. PVUSD brands their content pTUNES, available in iTunes U/K12 through the Arizona IDEAL e-Learning Platform.
PVUSD will host MediaFest 2010 on March 23rd, our third year of giving thanks to our community for their continued support of technology integration in learning. A number of podcasts from MediaFest 2009 are showcased within pTUNES and the Arizona IDEAL eLearning platform.
PVUSD has also launched our new pvCAST service for PVUSD students and educators. pvCAST provides every student and educator the ability to independently upload, store, manage and deliver their own multimedia titles. As the titles are used and reviewed within pvCAST, they can be further distributed to the world through pTUNES. This ability enriches our belief to practice Global Mindedness through Sharing, Extending the Classroom and Improving Learning. |
