This is a one semester class and we will explore five units as detailed below. Please check the Lab Information page for important updates and the assignment page for announcements throughout the semester.
Unit 1 - Safety and Sanitaion - safety in the kitchen and safe food handling procedures. |
Unit 2 - Measuring and Equipment - students will learn how to use each piece of equipment and how to accurately measure ingredients. |
Unit 3 - Careers - Students will extensively research possible careers related to Culinary Arts. |
Unit 4 - Recipes - students will learn how to create new recipes. |
Unit 5 - Nutrition and Digestion - Students will learn about personalized nutrition. |
