Welcome:

I am Mrs. Simmons your 7th grade English and reading teacher.  English/reading has many exciting components such as writing, poetry, grammar, reading novels and planning and presenting projects.  We will work hard, but when you leave my class you will be more than ready for the State test.

I am married to Mike and we have two children Boe and Nikole.  Both of our children are married, and they have given us three granddaughters.  Our granddaughters' names are Jordan, Morgan and Drew.  My dog is named Bear, a poodle, who is the love of my life.

I am so excited to meet you, and have you in my English/reading class.  I hope English will be your favorite subject after this school year.

Enjoy your summer and I will see you this fall.
