The English Language Development Program at Indian Bend Elementary School serves the needs of students from diverse language backgrounds working to develop English proficiency for academic success. Students qualify for ELD services on the state-adopted English language proficiency test. Annual English proficiency tests indicate placement in the appropriate class level. Robie Quijada is our testing clerk. The educational support provided by the ELD program at Indian Bend gives students the advantage of gaining strong English skills needed for success in mainstream classes and continued academic achievement.
