STUDENTS MAKE-UP PAGE
FOR BEING ABSENT

Make-up is for the following classes:
7th Grade Technology
7th Grade IB Technology
8th Grade Advanced Technology
8th Grade Advanced IB-Gen Yes Technology

1 - 2 DAYS ABSENTSENT

When students have been absent for one or two days, they can make-up work when they return to class. Complete 12 concepts and math problem for the lab missed.

3 OR MORE DAYS ABSENT

When students have been absent for 3 or more days, they must complete the following:

For every 5 days absent, students must write 16 facts from a Current Technology Article.
The Technology Article may be from one of the following:

Newspaper Article
Magazine Article
Discovery Channel
The Learning Channel
News Channel
Current Internet Technology Article

Some examples of Technology may include: computers, solar power, high tech materials, hybrid vehicles, wireless applications, new innovations, emerging trends, digital photography, etc.

Criteria for making up homework:

For 1 day absent, you have 1 day to make-up work upon returning to class.
For 2 days absent, you have 2 days to make-up work upon returning to class.
For 3 days absent, you have 3 days to make-up work upon returning to class.
...... and so forth.

Note: It is the responsibiliy of each student to turn in their missed assignments on time.
