Paperless Teaching Overview



Paperless Teaching Course Syllabus

This class assumes you have a good working knowledge of
Keynote/PowerPoint, pvlearners, google docs, presentations and
ConnectME website construction.

We will integrate tools from IDEAL, and focus on Discovery Streaming.  It would be helpful to have log-in info ready for class too!

Day 1
Consider aspects of Lesson Planning

  • Inquiry, accumulate prior knowledge
  • Motivate Students, validate subject
  • Deliver content:  Direct instruction, Video, Internet Research, Activities, Games, Interaction
  • Discovery, Analysis, Problem solving,
  • Application in life
  • Reinforcement, Review
  • Assessment

Keynote / Powerpoint (Slideshow Presentations)
  • Option 1: Build as a direct teaching tool



  • Incorporate Discovery Streaming video segments
  • Option 2: Build with students
  • Option 3: Build with cameras: experiments, events, student work




Day 2

Google Docs, Sites, Presentations
  • Google templates

Day 3

ConnectMe Website
