Who was your historical figure? What was one fact you learned about them?
Objective: Students will choose examples of how their historical figure shows citizenship
Turn in citizenship stories
Students will work in pairs to choose their examples of citizenship using a circle map
Students will identify the requirements of the historical figure citizenship poster
Students will choose the ways they are going to demonstrate citizenship for their poster
Write these down in your red spiral

Objective: Students will construct their ways to demonstrate citizenship
The historical figure citizenship poster is due at the beginning of the hour on Wednesday

Objective:
The students will interview each other about their historical figures.
Thursday, Sept 3
Warm Up
How important is it to know about money and how to make your money grow?
Objective:
The students will be able to explain economics vocabulary
The students will read economics article, pg 6-9
Create Cornell notes
Friday, Sept. 4
Warm Up
What item can you think of that has increase in supply that the price has gone down?
Objective:
The students will take part in a discussion of how supply and demand affects prices.

What is interest?
Objective:
The students will examine how the cost of items are affected by interest and how they may accumulate money through earning interest.
