 MATH This year we will learn a variety of mathematical concepts that include: measurement, graphs, time, money place value, rounding addition and subtraction with regrouping, multiplication, division, fractions and geometry. Students will continue to work on their addition and subtraction math facts. In November we will start memorizing our multiplication facts for rest of the year. list of concepts third grade students are expected to master. Keep your eyes open for multiplication flash card coming home sometime in December. I want to encourage you to have your students work on "Study Island" each and every day. Is is an excellent program that will let students practice what they have learned and master skills they are struggling with. Here are some web sites you may also want to try.
