The P. F. Chang Arizona Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon and Half-Marathon scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2010 has been billed as the largest “combined” Marathon and Half-Marathon event in the world – and continues to be one of the largest pledge charity events ever staged in Phoenix. An undertaking of this magnitude needs up to 5,000 volunteers: at the Start Corrals at the Wesley Bolin State Capitol Plaza, at various water stations and other venues located along the courses, and at the Finish Line at ASU Sun Devil Stadium, as well as with the Health Expos which are scheduled for Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, prior to the Marathon itself.
