AMLA Spring Social Join us for our spring AMLA (Arizona Middle Level Association) social at Aunt Chilada’s at the Pointe at 16th Street on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 4 – 6 p.m. on the patio. This is a no host social. The purpose is to get together, share ideas and to support our extra special teachers with this little perk from us. It is also our hope our teachers will begin to make connections with each other and share all of the wonderful things that happen in their classrooms. You are requested to invite several teachers from your building to attend the social with you to say thank you for their dedication to your students. This is a perfect end of the year activity for your Team Leaders. You will be responsible for your own drinks and any drinks you wish to purchase for your teacher guests. The restaurant has a free appetizer buffet from 4:15 pm on. Look for the balloons that will mark our tables. We have reserved seating for 50-60 people, so feel free to invite several teachers to attend with you. If additional people attend there isn’t a problem with space because it is an outdoor patio. E-mail Carol Kendrick, AMLA Social Chairman at ckendrick@pvschools.net with the number of people attending from your school, and the name of your school, by the AMLA Breakfast on April 23, 2008. This way we can revise the number of reserved seating upwards if needed. See the directions sheet attached to the e-mail for directions to Aunt Chilada’s.
