HELLO!  I am Mr. Beatty.

I was born and raised in New Jersey before coming to Arizona to attend ASU where I received my bachelors and masters in Elementary Education.  I have been teaching for 7 years and this is my third year at Sunset Canyon.  I have taught both Kindergarten and 1st grade.  In my spare time I can be found always preparing and planning new things for the classroom, relaxing at home, traveling, or teaching with the Horizon High School and Shadow Mountain High School Marching Bands.

Mr. Beatty meets Dr. Jean, infamous in the early childhood education world for her wonderful children's music that teaches every concept we cover in Kindergarten.
