THINKING MAPS
Supporting Teachers in the Paradise Valley Unified School District
The purpose of this web page is to bring you, the teacher, numerous examples of student and teacher generated Thinking Maps that you can replicate for your classroom use. As a teacher, you can see an idea from a different grade level or content area and recreate the Thinking Map to better suit your instructional needs. This web page will also reinforce the theory of developing the cognitive language to move your learners from “making maps” to “making meaning.”
