Dear Wildfire Families:

The Wildfire PTO is pleased to kick off the fundraising efforts this year with a Pledge Drive to raise funds for our school. Last year, the Pledge Drive raised $26,000 to support the PTO. The funds raised went to support our school by providing enrichment programs such as assemblies, classroom materials such as books, Core Knowledge curriculum related materials, library funds, AR Enterprise, Art Masterpiece, Study Island, professional development funding, and much more. With our school feeling the pinch of the recent budget cuts, we need your help now more than ever!

The idea behind the Pledge Drive is to make raising funds for our school as simple as possible. Instead of enlisting the students in fundraising efforts that involve “door-to-door” sales, the Pledge Drive eliminates the need to spend precious family time selling fundraising products. What’s more, 100% of the contributions collected (rather than only a fraction of the proceeds) go directly to the Wildfire PTO to help fund the programs that enrich the educational environment at Wildfire.

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 (approximately $50 per student). The Pledge Drive will run September 1st- 30th. Simply fill out the attached Pledge Drive donation form, and return it with your check, made payable to “Wildfire PTO” to your child’s teacher before September 30^th. The class with the greatest contributions for each grade (K-5) will receive an ice cream party! The Wildfire PTO is a 501 c (3) organization, so your donations could be tax-deductible.
