************* Toys for Tots Drive - December 8th - 12th ************ Family Night Out - December 10th at CPK ************

· The Wildfire Student Government will be holding its third annual Toys for Tots drive in partnership with the United States Marine Corps. The drive will take place December 1st—12th. A collection bin will be located in the school lobby where students can donate new, unwrapped gifts for less fortunate children ages 1 thru 14.

· The WFES PTO will be sponsoring its annual Holiday Shop starting Monday, December 8th thru Friday, December 12th. Children will have the opportunity during the school day to buy presents for their families for the holidays. Details can be found at the PTO Events and Fundraisers page.

· The next PTO Family Night out will be Wednesday, December 10th at California Pizza Kitchen in Desert Ridge. Details can be found at the PTO Events and Fundraisers page.

· Paradise Valley Unified School District will begin accepting open enrollment applications for the 2009-2010 school year starting Wednesday, October 1st—Monday, December 1st. Due to the projected enrollment size for the 2009-2010 school year, Wildfire Elementary will be closed in all grades. · Have you taken advantage of the Arizona State Tax Credit program? For those, who pay Arizona State Income Taxes, you can redirect money the state collects directly to Wildfire! Last year more then $25,000 was collected and used for overnight field trips and school club programs! Additional information and forms can be found at the Tax Credit Website.

· Learn more about Wildfire Elementary School at School Information Night! Come meet the Principal and members of our Core Knowledge® Committee. School Information Night is designed for current or prospective parents who live in the Wildfire attendance area. School Information Night will be held Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 6:30pm in the Media Center. Details can be found in the School Information Night flyer.

Wildfire Elementary School is located at 3997 East Lockwood Drive Phoenix, AZ 85050. The front office is open Monday—Friday from 8:00am–4:00pm.
