Directions for putting the TECH TIF Online Classes Conference on the desktop of your ConnectMe

(This is the conference to which you will send your completed assignments)

1. Open ConnectMe

2. Find the Sites conference on the desktop of ConnectMe

3. Open the Sites conference, find the Departments conference

4. Open Departments, find Technology conference

5. Open Technology conference find TECH TIF conference

6. Open TECH TIF conference, find TECH TIF Online Classes conference

7. Hold down the Control key (ctrl) on your keyboard and click on this conference

8. Release the Control key

9. Select "Add to Desktop" by clicking on it

Check which version of Keynote you have by opening Keynote (if it is not in your Dock, go to your Hard Drive and open the iWorks folder and launch Keynote from there. Also, add to your Dock for easy access.) With Keynote open, go to the Keynote menu, and select About Keynote.

Assignment:

For Version 1 - Create 2 Keynote presentations, both for your curriculum. Each with at least 12 slides, using various slide Master layouts, animations, transitions, shapes, a table (in one presentation), a chart (in one presentation).

For Version 2 - After viewing video clips, complete 2 NEW presentations

First Presentation - using YOU as the subject.

Slide 1: Title slide, your name, date show created in Subtitle box, choose a design template

Slide 2: Birth: where, when, use 2 column Master change font to Garamond, 24 pt, Green

Slide 3: Family (growing up), use slide Master of your choice, add information, animate title

Slide 4: Childhood, activities, special remembrances, use Title only Master, add a table, insert text in table

Slide 5: Schooling: Customize color for title, give details in bulleted list, animate bulleted list

Slide 6: Job(s): use Title only slide Master, insert text boxes for information, animate

Slide 7: Hobbies/Interests: use Text and Photo clip Master, insert photo

Slide 8: Family (current): Bulleted list Master or Text and photo, change bullet type, insert photo from Pics 4 Learning (see below)

Slide 9: Favorite vacation(s): use Title only slide Master, describe the vacation(s), put each phrase in a Shape, animate               shape(s)

Slide 10: Whatever you want on this slide, but also add music. Use one of the GarageBand Demo songs.

Then create transitions for the show. Set show to run on mouse click.

You may insert additional photos if you want.

2nd Presentation - For your curriculum, a minimum of 12 slides. Use various slide Masters, animatioins, transitions, colors, objects, and pictures. It should "fit" the content of the presentation.
