Describe a special teaching moment. It may be the fist time you realized you made the right career choice or a short story of a student who touched you. When I was student teaching, I was asked to take over a classroom at another school where the teacher had left and they’d gone through 3 or 4 teachers by October. Two of the parents came to observe me student teaching. Those two parents wrote one of the most encouraging and supportive letters and sent home to all the parents in that class explaining how excited they were to have me as their child’s teacher.
Add anything else you would like about yourself, your family, your teaching philosophy, etc. Between my husband and I, we have 11 nieces and nephews. Soon to be 12, and I can’t wait to meet my new niece in February!

Describe a special teaching moment. It may be the fist time you realized you made the right career choice or a short story of a student who touched you. When I was in middle school, they began a program for students to go to the elementary school next door and assist in the classrooms. It was an eye-opening experience to see school from another perspective; the teachers. Helping the little kids achieve success was fun and rewarding, so I chose to pursue that profession.
Add Anything else you would like about yourself, your family, your teaching philosophy, etc. I believe in building a child’s self-esteem, confidence, and courage. My job is not just to teach lessons on subject standards, but to develop life skills that my students wil be able to apply to any situation as they grow.
