Course Goal and Description : Come and lay the foundation for life-long singing through songs, exercises and simple movement. Students will learn technical aspects of great singing in a context of relaxed music making and theatrical and musical games. In each session, students will learn at least two new songs and begin or deepen their understanding of technical, interpretive and stage aspects of singing. Course Goal and Description : Want to work on your solo singing skills? This is the class! In this class, we will work on how to convey meaning and build excitement in a song. After group warm-ups and work, students present solo songs of their choice for experience and feedback. Presentation skills we will work on include: interpretation, phrasing, creation of character, confidence, and stage presence. Technical work will include expansion of range, in-the-mouth focus, optimum vowel and consonant shapes, flexibility in tone, breath and body support and ease of production. Cartoon Classes with Young Rembrandts

Course Goal and Description : All cartoonists must learn to create their own unique cartoon characters. We teach students how to draw a wide variety of characters as they learn to focus on movement and action lines, facial expressions and even sequences that tell jokes (all age appropriate). Our cartoon classes follow the same Young Rembrandts drawing method but it is a fast paced class with lots of drawings produced.
