Student Council

The Sandpiper Student Council is comprised of elected 6th grade students holding positions as president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.  In addition, grades third through sixth each have an elected classroom representative who serves on the council.

The student council has many responsibilities including, determining how funds raised from their fund-raising efforts will be used to enhance the school, service activities such as Pennies for Patients and Coats for Kids.  And lastly, the student council plans activities for students that enhance the academic achievement and overall spirit of the school.

Elections are held during the first quarter of the school year.
