Guidance Services

Services provided include:

1. Orientation for all incoming 9th grade students and parents, including transfer students.
2. Annual individualized conferences for each 9th grade student and his/her parents to develop a 4-year plan.
3. Information of careers, college entrance, financial aide and other related information.
4. Administration and interpretation of state mandated tests.
5. Communications to parents, including academic progress reports and phone contacts.
6. Enrichment activities through 9th and 10th grade coping and career units in classrooms.
7. Individual and group counseling.
   

Counselor Information:
Students are assigned to counselors by last name.  The Counseling office is open from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.  Students may drop in at lunch or before and after school to set up an appointment.
