Thank you for your interest in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. We are very proud of our district and we are pleased to be able to provide you with information about this dynamic organization where parents, teachers, support employees, administrators and community members work together to promote the success of our students. Our district is located in 98 square miles of rapidly growing northeast metropolitan Phoenix and a portion of north Scottsdale. This area extends from 7th Avenue to Pima Road and is generally bordered on the south by Cactus Road and the north by Jomax Road. With approximately 33,000 students, we are one of the larger school districts in the state of Arizona.
Paradise Valley Unified School District is noted for its challenging educational opportunities and a high standard of academic excellence. Our students continually score at or above state and national norms on standardized achievement tests. Many faculty, staff and administrators have been recognized with regularity, both statewide and nationally, for their contributions to education. Parent groups are celebrated for their involvement in and support of school programs. We encourage you to visit our schools and discover for yourself what makes Paradise Valley a terrific place for students to learn and grow.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
James P. Lee, Ed.D.
