CERTIFIED STARTING SALARY RANGE: 2009-10

Paradise Valley Unified School seeks highly qualified and appropriately-certified teachers who are looking for a progressive and professional career move.  We offer a compensation package including the following:

Starting salary ranges for teachers coming to the PVUSD*
Teachers with:

Bachelor's degree


$ 34,727  —  35,896

Master’s degree   

$ 36,761  —  38,221

Master’s degree plus additional credits

$ 36,819 —  42,041

National Board Certificate or Ed.D./Ph.D.

$ 44,475  —  48,565
* = Includes Performance-Based-Pay

Note:  Speech and language pathologists / psychologists range begins at $42,017.

Special education self-contained teachers will receive a $ 1,948 addenda; psychologists, speech and language specialists, occupational and physical therapists will receive and additional 15% on the base of the placement salary and will be eligible for Performance Based Pay.

Hard-to-fill addenda are available for teachers qualified to fill such positions and who come to us with more than six years of experience. Hard-to-fill positions include 7-12 math, science, English, CTE,  9-12 world languages, K-12 special education, ESL, K-6 reading and gifted specialists.  Addenda range from $584 to $15,776, depending upon year of experience.

ADMINISTRATOR SALARY RANGE: 2009-10
