The Public Relations / Information Office staff believes we have the responsibility to communicate effectively with our constituents, that meaningful public engagement supports our goals and that effective communication:

• Is a two-way process involving internal/external audiences.
• Supports teaching and learning.
• Is the responsibility of every employee in the district.

Our responsibilities include community relations, media relations, public relations counseling, marketing, communications training, public and employee engagement, crisis communication and student/staff recognition.
