Community Education is a department of the Paradise Valley Unified School District that provides opportunities for local citizens, families, and organizations to become active partners in the educational, cultural and recreational enrichment of our community. Programs and activities
outside of the school day are planned to serve the needs of all age groups from preschoolers to senior citizens. Services and programs include:
- Rental of School Facilities as civic centers for the community
- Auditorium rental for large events
- Pre-school and Early Childhood programs
- Mascot Club before and after school programs at 22 PVUSD elementary schools
- Mascot Day Camp (6:30 am to 6:30 pm) on school holidays, summer and vacations
- After school enrichment in athletics, the arts, and academic support
- Elementary, Middle and High School Summer School
- Distancia on-line classes for PVUSD high school students outside of the school day
- Driver’s Education, PSAT and SAT preparation courses for high school students
- Summer activities and camps for pre-k to high school students
- 21st Century Community Learning Centers at schools awarded grants by Arizona Department of Education
- District print shop
- Community Resource Center meeting rooms
