The five-year long range plan adopted in 2004 has been completed and the process of developing a new long-range plan for the district is underway. A design team that includes the presidents of COA, PVP, PVEA, PVSEA and United Parent Council was convened in August 2009. With input from their members, they created a framework for what will become the new long-range plan for PVUSD.
The design team gave recommendations for those who will serve on the Planning Committee and develop objectives for each of the goals, identify indicators of success and establish the process for creating strategies. Representation from all stakeholder groups will be part of the process, and Superintendent Dr. James P. Lee will present COMPASS 2015 to the Governing Board in May 2010.
