The Paradise Valley Unified School District offers a premiere
education to students in kindergarten through grade
12. We have 31 elementary schools (kindergarten through grade
six); eight middle schools (grades seven and eight); and
five high schools (grades nine through twelve). We also have
a variety of alternative educational programs to support
a wide variety of learners.
Our district is located in 98-square miles of rapidly-growing
northeast metropolitan Phoenix and a portion of north Scottsdale.
This area extends from 7th Avenue to Pima Road and is generally
bordered on the south by Northern Ave. and the north by Jomax
Road. With nearly 34,000 students, we are the fourth largest
school district in the state of Arizona.

The vision of the
Paradise Valley Unified School District is to become a great

Students demonstrate high achievement in a climate where
they are challenged appropriately by a rigorous curriculum
and taught in a quality, student-centered learning environment.
Academic, social and emotional
growth of students is fostered and measured in a variety
of ways. All adults in the community contribute to
student success through their professionalism, continuous
learning and respectful behavior which is characterized
by the collaboration of stakeholders.
