Teachers, administrators, parents and the Governing Board are
working together to provide quality educational programs for
all students in the district. Each student is expected to demonstrate
mastery of standards for:
- Language arts
- Mathematical computations and problem solving
- Knowledge
and understanding of the scientific world
- Knowledge and understanding
of American society and world cultures
- Appreciation of the
fine arts
- Participation in physical education activities
- Computer
literacy
- Wellness, physical education and healthy
lifestyles
Students are encouraged to develop a sense of civic responsibility
for the contributions they can make to others. Through elective
course offerings, students have the opportunity to develop
those special interests and skills that may be unique to their
lives.The Arizona Academic Standards are the framework for
the planned learning opportunities for students.
