What is Relevance?

Relevant learning is interdisciplinary and contextual.  It is created through authentic problems or tasks, simulation, service learning, connecting concepts to current issues, and teaching others. (excerpt from Rigor/Relevance Framework.) 

To offer students relevance in education we often need to allow them to experience the thing itself.
