Infinite Campus Replaces POGB
The PVUSD online grading reporting system, POGB, is frozen. It is being replaced with a new student information system called Infinite Campus. The new system will be available to parents and students starting Feb. 23. The login information will remain the same as POGB. I hope the new system will serve as a better resource for students, teachers, staff, and the parents of Pinnacle High School. Log in to INFINITE CAMPUS

Introducing e-Backpack Service
Because student work should be the emphasis of take-home information, PVUSD has created an "e-backpack" Webpage to make flyers available to parents interested in the activities, programs and events being promoted by non-profit organizations in our community.
As a community service, the PVUSD Governing Board authorizes the distribution of information (flyers or other promotional material) of outside organizations that is intended solely to notify students and their parents of opportunities to participate in youth-related programs, activities or events that aim to improve the health, education or welfare of the students. x

Printer Cartridge Collection
If you are replacing your printer’s cartridge, bring
your old cartridge to your school nurse. Every type is
accepted. These cartridges will be turned over to STARS
Foundation. This is a sheltered workshop for persons
with various disabilities. With your donation you are
keeping the cartridges out of our landfills and providing valuable
work for the STARS consumers. If you have any questions,
you can call your school nurse Linda Moskowitz, RN at
(480)419-4414 or Dr. Bast at (480)367-5813 at North Ranch Elementary.
Online School Meal Payments
Now Available
PVUSD parents now can manage their child ’s school meal
account online through EzSchoolPay, a secure, online service
which parents may register for using their e-mail address,
a password, school name or ZIP code, a major credit card and
their child ’s student ID number (if your child does
not know his/her ID number, contact the PVUSD Nutrition and
Wellness department at 602-493-6330). Parents can check the
balance or add funds to the online meal account at any time.
Each student listed in the family's account will keep a separate
balance, and checks and cash will continue to be accepted in
all school cafeterias for meal accounts.
EZSchoolPay.com charges a small service fee ($2 per transaction,
which is automatically added to the payment amount, not subtracted
from it.)

Tax Credit Program
A WIN-WIN OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERYONE
Here's your chance to make an important contribution to education
at our schools and receive an Income Tax credit for the full
amount you contribute up to $200 (or $400 per married couple).
Arizona Tax Law (A.R.S. 43-1089-01) allows taxpayers a tax
credit* of up to $200 (or $400 per married couple) if they
contribute to extracurricular activities in public schools. Extra
curricular activities such as sports, band, speech, and debate,
or overnight field trips are generally not fully funded by
school districts. These programs depend on fees from
students.
