Official Report Cards are issued four times a year.  Only those grades on the first and second semester report cards go on the official transcript.  Parents should expect to receive report cards within two to three weeks after the end of each quarter.

SEMESTER GRADES
Semester grades are calculated based on the following formula:
        40% 1st quarter grade
        40% 2nd quarter grade

GRADE POINT AVERAGE (G.P.A)
The Grade Point Average (GPA) is determined by the sum of the numerical equivalent for the grade divided by the total number of semester classes.

The Weighted GPA
is used only to determine class rank.

The Unweighted GPA
is used for admission to most colleges, universities, and for scholarships at in-state schools.
