ABBOTT AND FENNER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – Deadline 6/19/10 (*)
HS Juniors and Seniors
- The
A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all
students currently registered in any accredited post secondary
institution.
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an

AES ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP – Deadline 10/08/10
HS Senior - This scholarship is based on the character of the student, which is
determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. Student is not required to be taking
Engineering courses to be eligible.

ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION – THE HARRINGTON
SCHOLARSHIP
HS Senior – This renewable scholarship awards $5,000 per year for
university attendance and $2,500 per year for students at a community
college. The focus of this
scholarship program is students of very high ability with high financial needs.

ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION – THE PRIDE SCHOLARSHIP
HS SENIOR – This is a $1,000 scholarship for post-secondary studies for a
Maricopa County Student who has been involved in activities supporting the LGBT

SCHOLARSHIP FOR REFUGEES
HS SENIOR – This is a $6,000 scholarship awarded to four students who
entered the USA in refugee status and have demonstrated high potential for

achieve greatness in the growing beauty industry. IAHD will be awarding a $2,000 scholarship in
Cosmetology/Aesthetics that is dedicated to helping those individuals who show

MCCF has implemented a new online scholarship management system, which offers a
convenient, online application process for students and a host of
administrative benefits that will help the foundation better serve
students. You can find

HS Senior – Students ranking in the top
15% of the class OR who achieve the following placement on the ASSET, COMPASS, or
ACCUPLACER test in all three areas:
English – Placement in Honors ENG101; Reading – Exemption
from CRE101; and Math – Placement in MAT120 or higher can apply for this
scholarship. The award is
equivalent to the cost of in-state/in-county tuition for 15 credit hours per
semester. Scholarship is renewable
for a total of four consecutive semesters. (Schools associated with this program – PVCC, SCC,
GCC, Phoenix College, etc.)
PHOENIX COLLEGE HONORS PROGRAM
HS Senior – High school students
graduating from Maricopa County North Central Assoc. accredited high schools
who rank in the top 15% of their high school class may qualify to receive the
Maricopa Community College District’s Presidents’ Scholarship. The scholarship pays over $1,000 a
semester (15 credit hours) and is renewable for up to four consecutive semesters
of student. Students not in the
top 15% can qualify for this scholarship by scoring high marks of the MCCD
Placement Tests. Student must
apply for the scholarship through the Honors Program at the MCCD campus they

PVCC FEEDER HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP – Deadline 5/14/10
HS Senior – This is a 2-semester scholarship, renewable for an additional
2 semesters if student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher at
PVCC. $800+ per semester, covers
full time tuition of 12 credit hours.
Must complete the FAFSA and enroll at PVCC for the fall 2010 and spring
2011 semesters.
SUNTRUST – OFF TO COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP SWEEPSTAKES – Deadline 10/30/09 through 5/14/10
HS Senior – Win a $1,000 scholarship for first year expenses at an
accredited college or private career school. One winner will be chosen every two weeks. Students can begin registering
September 14, 2009. It’s FREE to
enter and eligibility is not based on GPA or financial need.
WENDY’S HIGH SCHOOL HEISMAN SCHOLARHSIP – Deadline 10/3/10
HS Senior - All senior high school student-athletes who work hard, are dedicated,
and have become role models for their school’s underclassmen can apply to this
program. Students are selected on
the basis of academic excellence (at least a “B” average), community service,
and athletic achievement. Each

ACE PROGRAM –
MARICOPA COMMUNITY COLLEGES
The mission of the ACE Program is to help students
make a smooth transition from high school, through community college, and
transfer to a university where they can complete a baccalaureate degree. ACE
refers to achieving a College Education. The ACE Program is for high school students who have just
completed their sophomore year and who have an interest in going to college. The purpose of the ACE Program is to retain
students in high school and ensure their transfer to the community college or
other institutions of higher education after graduating from high school. Student applying must have one or
more of the following characteristics to be eligible; first member of family to
attend college; demonstrate financial need; and/or environmental risk factors.
