FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
Join us for our financial aid presentation on Tuesday, December 1st at 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.
The speaker will address the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and scholarship options for students attending a college or university.
Parents and students are welcome to attend.

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Open enrollment will begin on Thursday, October 1, 2009 for the 2010-2011 school year. Applications will be accepted through December 1, 2009.
To obtain an application you may stop by NCHS in the Guidance Office or visit the District Web site. Applications may be turned in to NCHS or may also be dropped of at DAC before December 1, 2009.
Enrollment is not on a first-come first-served basis. Everyone applying during the two-month time frame has the same opportunity.

TAX CREDITS
To receive an income tax credit, you can contribute up to $200 ($400 per married couple). Extra curricular activities such as sports, chorus, band, orchestra, speech, and certain field trips are eligible. Forms are available in the front lobby. You can mail or bring the completed form to the Bookstore for your tax credit.
To receive the 2009 tax credit, it must be turned in to the Bookstore by December 18, 2009, or mailed to NCHS no later than December 31, 2009. Checks should be made payable to North Canyon High School. Please note that the Bookstore is closed every day from 12:30 - 1:30 pm.

SCHOOL DROP-OFF & SAFETY CONCERNS
- No parking from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm along 19th Street.
- Phoenix Police Department will begin ticketing cars for traffic violations such as parking, illegal U-turns, or unsafe driving.
- We discourage drop-off's on 19th Street as this causes traffic back-up and unsafe conditions. Please do not stop or drop-off within 500 feet of Union Hills.
- Please exit 19th Street using either Morrow or Rosemont Drive to the east and exit the community on 20th Street or Wescott.
- Slow down and drive safely around the campus during school hours for student safety.
