Bullying

Harassment and Bullying are not appropriated behavior for anyone at Mountain Trail Middle School.

Harassment has become a major concern on all school campuses across the nation as well as a topic of conversation at many conferences, workshops, and in-services.  This important issue is also included in our district's long-range plan in an effort to stop such behavior at school. As educators, we know that informed students are students who make better decisions regarding their behavior and total school program.  Please join us in this educational endeavor by talking with your child about harassment and bullying.

In addition to the inservice, students were provided with Mountain Trail's Stop Harassment brochure.  This brochure reviewe the 5 types of harassment and the school's recommendations for how to handle harassment, if it is happening to them or a classmate.  The topic of harassment is also covered in the MTMS planner on page 5 and in the PVUSD Parent-Student Handbook, that every student receives, on page 6.
