| Originally from Ohio, I moved to Arizona in 1973. I grew up and attended school right here in PVUSD. I received both my B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Northern Arizona University. GO JACKS! I started my teaching career in 1992 in Fountain Hills, AZ where I taught middle school social studies for twelve years. During this time I also coached football and wrestling at the high school level. I came back to PVUSD in 2004 to be the Assistant Principal at Shea Middle School. In January of 2006, I was hired as the Assistant Principal for Instructional Services at Shadow Mountain High School and have been there since that time. I enjoy spending time with my family and experiencing the outdoors. I am very excited to be at Mountain Trail and I look forward to meeting and working with all of you. | Originally from Michigan, I moved to Arizona , attended and graduated from A.S.U. I received my Masters Degree from N.A.U. in Educational Leadership. I started my teaching career at Sunrise Middle School in the science department. After 8 years of teaching, I moved into the Dean of Students position. One year later I became the Assistant Principal at Sunrise and moved to help open Mountain Trail Middle school in 2001. | Originally from Michigan, I grew up in Scottsdale and attended Arizona State where I received a B.F.A. in Printmaking, a Post Baccalaureate in Education, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. In 1987 I started my teaching career at Eagle Ridge Elementary teaching Visual Arts. When Boulder Creek Elementary first opened in 1996 I moved from Eagle Ridge to help open it and I have been teaching Art there since. My interests include music, graphic arts, mountain biking and spending as much time as I can with my family. I'm very excited to be a new part of the Mountain Trail staff as the Dean of Students. I am really looking forward to meeting and working with all of you. |
