QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School Diploma or GED.
- At
least one year experience in attendance reporting in school district.
- Knowledge
of general office procedures.
- Knowledge
of district/state student computer program..
- Experience
in a lead capacity desirable.
- Experience
with Microsoft Office Products.
- Effective
communication skills.
GRADE: 14
REPORTS TO: Building Administration
SUPERVISES: Attendance Clerk 1
JOB GOAL:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish
and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
- Prepare
and verify state attendance reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Codes,
compiles, enters in computer and files a variety of data pertaining to
attendance and enrollment.
- Plans,
assigns and directs the daily activities of the attendance office.
- Oversees
early student departures, late arrivals, and communicates and parents
regarding student attendance.
- Knowledge
of district truancy/discipline policy.
- Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year
to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in
accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support
Services Personnel.
