ATTENDANCE CLERK I – (formerly Attendance Clerk)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Demonstrated general clerical skills.
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  4. Effective communication skills.

GRADE: 12

REPORTS TO:   Site Administrator

SUPERVISES:

JOB GOAL:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.              Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.

2.              Code, compile, enter into computer, and files a variety of data pertaining to attendance and enrollment.

3.              Knowledge of District truancy/discipline policy.

4.              Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
